Over de Vantage V8 Roadster schreven kritische autojournalisten dat zij deze even fijn vinden rijden als de Coupe. Dat is voor een open sportwagen, die door het ontbreken van een vast dak vaak wat minder stijf, het mooist denkbare compliment.
De open variant van onze V8 Vantage is een mannenauto waarin ook vrouwen zich volledig thuis voelen. Hij is desgewenst uitermate sportief en altijd bereid om meteen met een krachtige grom te presteren. Maar hij voelt zich ook prima thuis in stadsverkeer, op een boulevard of onderweg naar uw vakantiehuis of jachthaven. Het uiterlijk is wat sportiever dan dat van een cabriolet, door de twee verhogingen achter de hoofdsteunen en de onder een deksel verzonken softtop. Die u binnen enkele seconden op de best denkbare manier beschermt tegen regen, wind en koude. Ook de V8 Vantage Roadster biedt daarmee Power, Beauty and Soul in optima forma.
Er zijn nauwelijks beperkingen ten aanzien van de uitvoering. U kunt ook de V8 Vantage Roadster bestellen met handgeschakelde 6-bak of Sportshift semi-automatische transmissie waarbij u met druktoetsen en ‘peddels’ achter het stuur kiest tussen automaat en handgeschakeld. Hoewel de standaarduitrusting weldadig compleet is, kunt u kiezen voor tal van begerenswaardige extra's, passend bij uw smaak.
De auto wordt vervolgens speciaal voor u gebouwd. De prijs van de V8 Vantage Roadster Manual start bij € 180.027,-; de Sportshift uitvoering vereist een meerprijs van slechts 1.200 euro.
